Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Will Feature a Host of New Gadgets
Although they aren’t willing to unveil the full details, it looks like Sledgehammer Games is trying hard to give you as much of the gadgets and features possible in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer mode as shown in the E3 demo.
For starters, the solider shown in the demo is the one you will actually get in the multiplayer. This means a lot of the features that were shown with him will accompany.
Studio head Michael Condrey was asked if features like Overdrive and Mute Charge will feature in the game’s multiplayer mode. In his reply he said:
“Well, you can imagine that we want all these toys in multiplayer somehow. We’ll have much more to share soon. But on the highest level, the Advanced soldier which our E3 demo showcased is the Advanced soldier you’ll see in multiplayer.”
Now we are not saying that everything shown in the E3 demo is going to make it to the game when it releases, that would be a little impractical looking at the past. However, this is evidence enough to make us expect some new things to play around with.
Condrey has also mentioned things like Exoskeletons, other new unknown gadgets and an improved movement of players while talking at a different occasion. The exoskeletons were confirmed by studio head Glen Schofield in a different interview.
This is also when Condrey explained the game’s multiplayer as much as the developers are willing to disclose. He said that the most prominent feature will be a biggest set of new, cool gear the likes of which haven’t been seen in a long time. He talked of innovation and three years of development while hinting at the potential of the game as well.
Sledgehammer isn’t completely open about the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer mode yet, but we will keep filling in the bits and pieces of information as it surfaces. Keep checking back for more.
