Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive is definitely among the highly anticipated games of this year, due to its unique, fast paced and fun gameplay.

The game had pretty good visuals to start with, but in a new interview, developer said that final product will now look more beautiful.

Speaking with Gamingbolt, game’s lead writer John Paquette and Brand Development Director Ryan Schneider said that they are going to take benefit of June SDK update and GPU’s increased performance in Kinect-Less Xbox One.

For us it’s really more about pushing the number of characters on the screen and particles in the game. If you play the game you will see there are a lot of things that are happening on the screen. It really is great to be supported by Xbox.

As reported previously, GPU freed up by removing Kinect can be utilized by developers to increase game’s resolution, frames per second or more on screen characters.

Here’s how Schneider wants to take advantage of freed up GPU:

We are certainly going to be looking into that and ways to optimize but again the emphasis is on a big, grand spectacle along with unprecedented amount of stuff happening on screen and making sure frame rate does not suffer.

Sunset Overdrive has been getting a lot of attention since its gameplay reveal few months ago and many people are eagerly looking forward to get their hands on it.

The best part is that people will not have to wait too long, as the game is set to release on 28th of October exclusively for Xbox One.
