New Batch of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Screenshots Released

By   /   Jun 17, 2014

2K Games has released a new batch of screenshots for the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

This is the third installment in the series and a prequel to Borderlands 2 which was a fantastic piece of writing, and one that offered an exciting co-op experience as well. It’s one of my favorite games and I for one am expecting nothing less from the new game.

Like before, players will be given the option to choose from four playable characters, each with different abilities. The thing to note here is that all four characters featured in the game were non-player characters in previous Borderlands games.

They are Athena (the Gladiator), Wilhelm (the Enforcer), Lynchwood Sheriff Nisha (the Lawbringer) and Claptrap (the Fraptrap).

The story revolves around Handsome Jack’s attempt to escape his prison from the Hyperion moonbase and take it over himself.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will officially release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 14 in North America and October 17 in Europe.
