Upcoming Zelda Wii U Version Will Allow More Freedom, Says Eiji Aonuma

By   /   Jun 16, 2014

There is no questioning the fact that Zelda Wii U version was among the best games shown at this year’s E3 as developer promised to give a vast open world to the players to explore, just like the first Legend of Zelda title.

Eiji Aonuma, who is very well known for his work on Legend of Zelda series, has been working on Zelda Wii U version for quite some time and in an interview with GenGames, he emphasized that developer wants to give more freedom to the players in upcoming adventure of Link.

With the new Zelda game, I really want to open the opportunities up for the players to really make an impact on their environment and to give them a little more freedom to choose their path the story takes.

Apart from the game’s big and open world, another aspect that got people’s attention was the incredible visuals of the title.

People even went to say that the video at E3 was CGI footage and not the actual gameplay, but Aonuma stepped forward to clarify that all the footage shown, was in-game and everything that you see in long distance can be accessed without much of a problem.

With this new title, Nintendo wants to bring back the feel of original Legend of Zelda, where players had the option of exploring game’s world and finding new things, instead of going on a linear pathway.

Zelda Wii U has certainly got everyone’s attention and is shaping up to be an amazing title. Hopefully, we will see more of the game in coming months.
