No Multiplayer Elements in Assassin’s Creed Unity Story Missions

One of the most exciting games covered at this year’s E3 Conference was Assassin’s Creed Unity. Ubisoft almost swept the floor with the trailer that put the new protagonist and his new parkour features to the limelight. However, the other most exciting feature of the game was the multiplayer aspect.

We are sure every one of you is pumped up to become a part of the French Revolution with your friends, but sadly the story missions of the game will not allow multiplayer.

The ability to play cooperatively with four other players is certainly something that I would love to try out in the game. However, you will have to stay confined to only a few of the missions for that. Most of the missions will have to be completed by single player.

Don’t get mad about it though, you will still be able to stomp the open world of the game with your mates. This means you can call them in for help in killing certain guards you don’t like, find some of those collectibles and of course partake the missions that allow you to bring company.

One example of the missions that allow multiplayer was shown in the E3 trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity where the protagonist was tasked to kill Marquis De Bullion.

In parallel news, it was announced that there won’t be any competitive multiplayer in the game, many of us had started to think of that as a drag, I guess it was a wise decision.

Coming to think of it, it is not that bad. Story missions usually are supposed to be played alone and there still are some multiplayer missions in Assassin’s Creed Unity.
