Two New Titanfall Modes and Features Coming With Update
If you have been loyal to Titanfall and stuck with the game so far, Respawn Entertainment plans to give you a couple of reasons to continue doing just that.
In the upcoming updates, you can expect at least two new Titanfall modes as well as certain Titan related new features.
The official Titanfall blog made a post related to their E3 presence where the developers have detailed what changes you can expect in the game after the next game update is released.
Top of the list are the aforementioned new Titanfall modes namely ‘Marked for Death’ and ‘Wingman LTS.’ Obviously the names aren’t totally self-explanatory so here are the official descriptions of each one of them:
Marked for Death – MFD is a 6v6 mode where one player per team is “Marked for Death”. Teams need to protect their own marked player while hunting down the enemy Pilot. Once a target is killed, new Pilots are marked. This is a fast paced mode that challenges players to fully explore maps and coordinate as a team.
Wingman LTS – This is a 2v2 version of Last Titan Standing. It’s our first non 6v6 mode and relies on teamwork and strategy. Great for players who want to play an even more tactical version of LTS.
Other than these, Titan Burn Cards will be introduced into the game, this means that the Burn Cards will not be limited to the Pilots and things like amped weapons and enhanced abilities will make their way to the Titans too.
Customizations of Titans will give you choice between three different voice-over packs. These include Betty, the original VO followed by Lisa and Jeeves. It is more than that, you will get to select some pretty cool Titan decals after certain challenges are completed.
Last but not the least, certain matchmaking updates will now show players connecting into lobby and also while shuffling teams. Which one of the new Titanfall modes are you going in for first?
