Steam Summer Sale Will Run from June 19 to 30 Says PaySafeCard

By   /   Jun 12, 2014

There have been a lot of rumors in the air regarding this year’s Steam Summer Sale. However, Valve has been relatively quiet about unveiling its plans regarding the mega event. When you don’t find news from the official source, you look for another source, so here is one. Currently, PaySafeCard is listing the dates of the sale on their website and apparently there is just one week left in them!

Here’s what a page on the website reads:

“PaySafeCard presents, Steam Summer Sale, 19th – 30th June 2014. This year’s Steam Summer Sale is from 19 June to 30 June 2014! To help the time pass quicker till then, PaySafeCard is giving away 250 PINs worth €10 each!”

PaySafeCard is a European website dealing with online prepaid systems used for online shopping, and from the looks of it, they are planning to make some offers to their customers with regards to Steam’s sale.

This comes following the appearance of certain Mysterious Cards over at the Steam website that has been linked with the sale by multiple sources, including us. You may read up on them in detail here.

Another clue about the sales dates was dropped when an image was leaked that asked game creators to present their discount plans spreadsheets before June 13. That would be one week before the proposed date in this story and it does make sense.

While we would seriously want these rumors to be true, they still are rumors and until the official dates of Steam Summer Sale are confirmed by the company itself, let’s keep it at that.
