Alongside the launch of official weblog of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, Nintendo has released a new trailer for the game detailing different types of Pokémon we can expect in forthcoming Hoenn adventure.

Players will choose their first ever Pokémon from Grass-Type Treecko, Fire-Type Torchic, and Water-Type Mudkip. Just like its predecessors, each of these Pokémon has its own skills.

Furthermore, each of these Pokémon undergoes Mega Evolution to transform into fiercer Mega forms:

  • Grass-Type Treecko – Grovyle – Sceptile
  • Fire-Type Torchic – Combusken – Blaziken
  • Water-Type Mudkip – Marshtomp – Swampert

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Trainers will need a Key Stone which will resonate with the Mega Stone to carry out a successful Mega Evolution.

The trailer further gave us the first glimpse of Team Magma and Team Aqua followed by the recently reveal Legendary Pokémon.

This is the first time we have seen Fire-Type Primal Groudon and Water-Type Primal Kyogre in action. Both of this Legendary Pokémon has also made it to the game’s official cover art.

Check out the complete trailer above and let us know which Pokémon would you like to see undergo Mega Evolution?

Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are scheduled to hit the store shelves on Nov. 21, later this year across Nintendo 2DS and 3DS systems.
