Enemy Front Errors, Crashes, Freezes and Fixes
Amidst all E3 fuss, Namco Bandai decided to release its World War II based FPS “Enemy Front.” I almost forgot about the game, but I am sure that many of you would have been right on time to enjoy it.
Developed by CI Game, Enemy Front uses the power of CryEngine 3 to portray some real incidents during the Word War II. Although the game has go its fair share of problems, but if you are an FPS fan, you most probably are going to like “Enemy Front.”
In case you are having issues in running the game-like errors, crashes or bugs, you can refer to the following troubleshooting listing that aims to address the common problems being faced by the users.
#1 Enemy Front Unable to Start the Game
If you are unable to start the game after the download is complete, first I will recommend that you try out the following:
- Restart Steam
- Verify Game Cahce
- Driver Updates
- Run the game as admin.
If that doesn’t help, try running the game with DirectX 9 as some users have reported that directx 11 is presenting some issues with Enemy Front.
#2 Enemy Front Poor Performance/Low FPS Fix
If you are running an SLI/Crossfire, it’s recommended that you disable it and try running the game using a single card for optimum performance. And if you have only a single card and still facing the performance issue, make sure that your GPU drivers are up to date.
Furthermore, if you have any applications running in the background that are not being used, try disabling them. Some users have also reported that disabling the antivirus increased the performance of their game.
#3 Enemy Front Black Screen Crash Fix
Many users are facing this issue. To fix it, you can try a couple of workarounds:
- First thing you need to do is disable dpi scaling from the game’s “.exe” file.
- If that doesn’t fix the issue, you need to change settings in the system file (SteamApps\common\Enemy Front\system.cfg) and change the Driver to DX9 from DX11.
#4 Enemy Front FOV Fix
Although the game doesn’t support any FOV slider by default, you adjust FOV by editing the config file of the game.
#5 Enemy Front Multiplayer Issues
It’s natural for a game to multiplayer issues at launch. Enemy Front is no different.
#6 Enemy Front Buggy Graphics and Glitches
If you are sure that your drivers are up to date and meeting the minimum system requirements to run the game, this issue then most probably is related to SLI.
Disable it and you will be able to solve multiple problems related to the game.
