Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition Runs 1080p 60FPS Locked on PS4, 900p on Xbox One
Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition that is being developed for the next-gen consoles will play at native 1080p on PlayStation 4, while the Xbox One version will run at 900p, with both of them running at 60 frames per second.
The news was confirmed by senior producer of the console versions, Julia Humphreys as she emphasized that frame rates are given more importance than resolution.
The resolution gap between two consoles is becoming a major talking point on the internet as many people would want to see games running in 1080p, 60 frames per second because they believe that’s what the next-gen consoles should be able to do so.
So far, Xbox One is lagging behind PS4 in this department but there have been some speculations that, upcoming updates will resolve this issue and the games will start working on 1080p, 60 FPS on Xbox One without any problems.
The gap however, is closing as previously Xbox One owners were playing on 720p, which many believed was due to Kinect integration in the console.
After making its mark on PC players, Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will bring the amazing gaming experience to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on 19th of August.
