Dark Souls 2 DLC Crown Of The Sunken King Gets New Details and Screenshots

It was revealed earlier that Dark Souls 2 will be getting The Lost Crown DLC pack, which will consist of three episodes that will release separately.

Today, From Software has shared details on the first expansion, Crown of the Sunken King and the studio rep said that this new DLC is intended to be even more difficult than the original game.

In all three episodes, there will be a main path, which will be easier and an alternate harder path that is intended to be played cooperatively.

The Dark Souls 2 DLC will also bring brand new weapons, armors and of course, the boss weapons and upon completing all three expansions, players will be given a “special reward.”

As the screenshots show, there will be bunch of new and dangerous enemies to fight against as players will be exploring the game’s world.

The developer also revealed that each DLC would almost be the size of Forest of the Fallen Giants location of Dark Souls 2 and all three expansions combined will make a huge new world map itself.

Dark Souls 2 DLC Crown of the Sunken King is scheduled to release on 22nd of July and the other two episodes will be released after some time.
