World of Speed E3 Customization Trailer Shows Car Modifications
Slightly Mad Studios, who hold the driving seats of Need for Speed Shift series and Project CARS in terms of development, are also making World of Speed; a free to play online action racing game. At E3 they showcased the customization trailer detailing how you can get the best out of your car.
Just like all good racing games, World of Speed will offer you visual as well as performance enhancements for your rides including installations and upgrades for the engine, suspension, brakes, nitro, tires, drivetrain and induction.
As shown in the video, two sets of upgrades allow the Mitsubishi that took around one and a half minute for a lap to do the same in just a little over a minute.
In the words of the developers, cars are an image of the person driving them, and they wish give you enough customization options that would allow you to create a car that is a true representation of yourself:
“In racing, cars are the personification of the driver; everything from the visuals to performance tuning is customized to the drivers’ style. We want to give players the ability to make their cars a true representation of themselves in World of Speed which is why we’ve worked hard to provide a wide range of both visual and performance tuning options!”
Sign ups for the beta version of World of Speed are currently open, and if this trailer caught your attention you might as well want to get a chance to play the game before others do.
Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think of the customization options that World of Speed offers.
