The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt E3 Gameplay Trailer Takes You to Novigrad

By   /   Jun 11, 2014

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s showing at E3 2014 was everything we expected of the action-RPG. With vast mountain regions to climb, entire forests to scout, and Gryphons to hunt; the game seemingly offers everything a RPG-nut would wish for.

The E3 2014 trailer that we were treated to showed Geralt of Rivia successfully tracking and then finishing off a Grphon. With its head bagged, Geralt was heading back to the city of Novigrad when the trailer ended.

There was a second demo that continued on from there and it was shown by developer CD Projekt RED exclusively behind-closed-doors. Continuing from where it left off, the second demo treats us to the glory of Novigrad, the biggest city in The Witcher 3.

According to a CD Projekt RED representative, the city is a “living, breathing community of thousands. The fishermen get up in the morning to catch fish, the merchants haggle over prices, and it’s a great place to get lots of quests.”

You can check out the entire demo above.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is open for pre-orders and will release officially on February 24, 2015, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
