Deep Down Producer Confident About Graphics, Proves It With E3 Trailer
Capcom released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming title Deep Down during E3 2014. The trailer showcases the Action RPG’s visual fidelity on next generation console.
The Producer of Deep Down, Kazunori Sugiura seems to be really excited about the trailer and expressed it via the game’s official Twitter page along with some more details regarding the game.
Rough translation of his tweets:
Producer Sugiura here. We’re releasing the latest trailer from E3. All of it is in-game footage. I apologize for the self-praise, but we’re starting to feel very good about the graphics.
The gameplay footage showed some Dark Souls style action combat with next generation visuals.
There are also voices in the background hinting at the game’s story which takes players from New York City of 2094 to dungeons in the past by touching magical artifacts.
Sugiura also had some disappointing news for fans of the genre in West who were looking to play the game. Apparently there are no plans to release the game outside of Japan for now although he did acknowledge the excitement of players from outside Japan.
