Couple of hours ago Microsoft announced the release date of Forza Horizon 2 at their E3 2014 media briefing. The news had come with a trailer and now a couple of new Forza Horizon 2 gameplay videos have surfaced online.

Both the Forza Horizon 2 gameplay videos have come courtesy of FamilyGamerTV.

The first video showcases the open world elements of the game which mean that you are not tied to the track and can go wherever you want. Crash through fences, take the dirt road, and devastate someone’s fields or anything else that comes in the way.

The video also shows rain, which is the first time we have seen it in a Forza game.

Forza Horizon 2 is going to have dedicated servers, no lobbies and is boasting of no waiting lines. It is being developed by Playground Games for the Xbox One using the Forza 5 engine whereas the Xbox 360 version is being made by Sumo Digital using the Forza Horizon engine.

The game arrives on September 30 this year, check out the videos above and tell us if it will be worth spending the money.
