Dead Island 2 E3 Announcement Trailer, Zombies are Funny?

By   /   Jun 10, 2014

Deep Silver just announced the sequel to their co-op zombie survival Dead Island. Dead Island 2 was just announced with a hilarious trailer completely different in theme from its predecessor.

The game will be released in 2015 and while it will not be a PS4 exclusive, it will feature some exclusive content on Sony’s consoles.

The sequel to 2011’s Dead Island and 2013’s Dead Island: Riptide, Dead Island 2 takes place several months after the events on Banoi. California is now a playground for brain eating zombies as well as humans who still reside in the area and revel in killing these monsters.

The game will bring back the immersive close combat and RPG elements of Dead Island and will feature new never seen before hand-crafted weapons.

It seems like they are trying to adopt similar strategy that of Dead Rising and Sunset Overdrive when setting the comedic tone of the game.

We will have more details as they surface so stay tuned.
