Tom Clancy’s The Division has taken the top spot on the E3 conference. After being shown off at Microsoft’s media briefing, Ubisoft’s also had a brand-new footage of the game.

The Division E3 trailer delves into the emotional elements of the game, showing us how the city you love gets turned into hell hole and why you must take up arms to claim back what is yours i.e. ordinary life and peace.

Aisha Tyler who held the floor with her witty and largely humorous aura introduced Peter Mannerfelt, who explained how the world in Tom Clancy’s The Division you enter a devastated city after three weeks of a virus being spread that has taken over everything.

The Division E3 trailer starts off with the process of destruction of New York at the hands of the pandemic virus. We see a home, a bedroom and people crying for their loved ones. Possessions change into items required for travel.

Clean windows are replaced by blood stains, and the streets are filled with debris of the remains of the good days.

That is where the heroic elements start rising to put back the faith where it belongs and to take a stand against the humanity that is losing itself. It is not just the virus that is the enemy; it is fellow humans.

Tom Clancy’s The Division will arrive next year. Check out The Division E3 trailer above and tell us what you think.
