Ubisoft Registers Shapeupgame.com Domain

By   /   Jun 6, 2014

If this neogaf thread is to be believed, Ubisoft may have registered a new domain by the name of ‘shapeupgame.com’. The domain has supposedly been transferred to Ubisoft on 5th June.

There is no word yet from Ubisoft regarding this domain or any hints about an upcoming game with which the domain could be associated with. It does, however, sound like an exercise video game quite similar to Ubisoft’s Your Shape franchise.

It is also highly likely that the domain could be for a next-generation version of a Your Shape game.

If it does turn out to be a next-generation sequel to Your Shape, it could benefit a lot from the better motion tracking capabilities from Xbox One’s Kinect 2.0 and PlayStation 4 Move.

Your Shape franchise first started in 2009 with a game for PC and Wii. A sequel came out in 2010 for Xbox 360, and then the series followed a somewhat similar pattern with a new title releasing every year.

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013 has so far been the last title released in the franchise, for Wii U.

So what are your thoughts about Ubisoft registering new domain? Looking forward to yet another Your Shape game? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
