Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show Releasing This November
Ubisoft has announced that Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show, developed by Ubisoft Barcelona in collaboration with Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Casablanca, will be hitting the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 this November.
The title is based on the successful Rabbids Invasion TV series and utilizes the PlayStation Camera and Xbox Kinect to add interactive elements to a total of 20 episodes. During an episode, the game will bring up various prompts for kids to interact and play with. There’s everything from jumping around to having egg battles with the Rabbids, from matching their silly poses to launching Rabbids in the air; kids are going to love going through each episode. Ubisoft has revealed that the game features over 400 activities in total.
The Xbox 360 will have support for up to two players, while the PS4 and Xbox One will support up to four players. The global scores will allow players to unlock new episodes and content.
“The Rabbids Invasion TV series is very popular amongst kids and their families so we wanted to merge the success of this TV show with the studio’s expertise in creating fun and original gaming experiences,” said Xavier Manzanares, Brand Producer. “With Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show, we’re introducing an innovative way that people can interact with their favorite characters. This is not only TV you can watch, but TV you can play.”
The original Rabbids Invasion show was launched in Fall 2013 and has so far been viewed more than 280 million times worldwide.
