Killzone Shadow Fall To Receive Retro Killzone Maps

By   /   Jun 6, 2014

During a Reddit AMA, Senior Online Produce Samrat Sharma confirmed that Killzone: Shadow Fall will be receiving some fan favorite maps from previous installments of the franchise, such as Radec Academy from Killzone 2.

This is really exciting news for Killzone fans since the previous titles featured some really awesome and memorable maps.

Some players might end up thinking they will have to pay for these maps and consider this as yet another attempt by companies to milk money from fans, but let me remind them that Shadowfall maps are free for all users.

More details about these maps can be expected at the upcoming E3 in a week’s time along with the team finally showing us Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept which serves as a DLC but in the form of a Standalone title to introduce a co-op mode.

He also confirmed that Guerilla Games’ new IP which they were previously going to reveal at E3 2014 will be an open-world game.

There is no word yet on when this game will be revealed now, but let’s hope if not at E3 then we get to see it at this year’s GDC.
