Dota 2: The International 4 Unlocks Another Stretch Goal at $8,800,000

The Dota 2 community has managed to unlock yet another stretch goal and in doing so have helped The International 4’s prize pool to cross $8,800,000.

This is the 19th stretch goal to be reached and from the looks of it, the next one will be reached soon as well. The latest goal unlocks a live broadcast of the exclusive after-party with guest star Darude.

Only the community can well know the importance of Darude and his hit single Sandstorm, since every track pales in comparison to it. If you’re new then try asking for a track name in a Dota 2 Twitch stream and you’ll get your answer.

The next stretch goal to be hit is Stretch Goal 20 at $9,200,000, which would allow all users to unlock special models for their lane creeps after killing their opponent’s barracks. This is something the community has been eying at for sometime now.

Currently the count holds at $8,829,226. The final stretch goal at $10 million will unlock the ability to perform a taunt by every hero at the start of a game.
