Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor E3 Trailer Delves into Talion’s Story
October 7 is going to be the big day ultimately for fans of The Lord of the Rings universe, but June 10 is comparatively bigger. With E3 2014 looming right on top of us, everyone is gearing up as well as they can. Monolith Productions has also released the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor E3 trailer.
Not that the trailer itself isn’t self-explanatory or exciting enough, but here’s a word from the makers of the game on the story of our protagonist Talion:
“Prepare to glimpse into the world of Talion, the Ranger of The Black Gate whose family was killed when Sauron made his return to Mordor. Talion fights on after being denied death due to a mysterious Wraith — a Spirit of vengeance that, as it turns out, holds a very ancient grudge against Sauron himself.
In the trailer lies the aftermath of a battle; Uruks slain and a message left. A Captain of Sauron’s army soon finds out that the mayhem around him was caused by Talion, the Gravewalker, as the lone surviving Uruk tells of what he saw — and who’s next.”
For everyone who is attending the E3 will be able to get a glimpse at the gameplay too, finally. Other than that, everyone who has registered for Warner Bros. ID over at the game’s website will get two in-game items exclusively. You will be able to increase terror with stealth takedowns using the Orc Hunter Rune and through the Palantir Gravewalker Talion will spread increased fear.
