Square Enix Montreal, the developer behind widely-acclaimed mobile game Hitman GO has announced another Hitman game – designed for smartphones and tablets – dubbed as Hitman: Sniper.

Developer states that Hitman: Sniper will offer a similar experience like Hitman: Sniping Challenge which was released prior to Hitman: Absolution.

The game is promised to be a massively competitive sniping game focused on scenario-driven contracts with a ton of replayability elements.

The game will also feature in-app purchases to allow players to customize their gameplay experience by getting early access to contracts and upgrading their sniper rifle. All these customization options will also be acquired by going through the game and the developer will not force you down any particular road.

Customize their own game experience with optional in-app purchases if they want to. For instance, you can get early access to contracts, or upgrade your sniper rifle – all things you can earn through playing the game. It’s up to you which one you choose and the game won’t force you down a particular route.

Hitman: Sniper is slated to release later this year as a free to play title on smartphones and tablets with more information coming at Square Enix Montreal’s E3 presentation.

In related news, IO Interactive has shown off first concept art for the next Hitman game which will feature Agent 47 at the peak of his career in Central Europe. The game is expected to launch across PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, but will not make an appearance at E3 this year.
