EVE: Online Kronos Expansion Has Been Released

By   /   Jun 5, 2014

CCP Games, the developer behind EVE: Online has released Kronos, which is the first of ten expansion packs that will be coming to the game over the period of next year.

The expansion pack is filled with bunch of new content and is described on the official page as:

The pirate factions watched closely as you defied Empire mandates, seized control of planetary trade, and took the law into your own hands when their justice system failed you.

The crumbling control of the Empire factions is now readily apparent, and those that had once hid in the shadows now seek to challenge your claim to space. It is pilot versus pirate, with the universe as the ultimate prize.

The tagline for this expansion reads, “The Rise of Pirates” so it looks like that highlight of this expansion will be the Pirates.

Patch notes available on game’s official website mentions that already available ships will be tweaked a little bit to make your experience smoother.

In Eve: Online, you participate in a number of professions and activities like mining, manufacturing, trading, exploring, piracy and obviously Combat, which is available in both PvP and PvE.

Playing field of the game comprises of over 5000 star systems and 2500 wormhole systems that can be accessed by the players.

The next expansion “Crius” that was scheduled to release in August will now release a bit early on 22nd of July.
