EA Teases FIFA 15, Full Reveal to Happen at E3 2014

By   /   Jun 5, 2014

Surprise, EA Sports has been working on a new FIFA 15, which will be unveiled next week during E3 2014. The new installment in the FIFA franchise will probably be showcased during EA’s press conference, which begins at 8 p.m. UK time.

As of now there are no further details regarding the new title, which probably would be focused heavily on the new next-gen hardware. The official EA Sports FIFA Twitter page though shared a short teaser video that features Liverpool player Luis Suarez taking a shot at goal.

According to the nine-second video, FIFA 15 will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It’s a damn shame to see the franchise still being held back by the last-generation platforms. As for a release date, FIFA 15 will probably release by September, which it always does.

Last year EA proudly showed off its new Ignite Engine, that was said to “blur the line between real and virtual.” With a year gone, we’ll see if the studio has managed to achieve just that.
