Understand that there is no deception in this; however, the single Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is surely free to download right now! This offer extends to all the PlayStation Plus members in the United States.

Not that you would need to know, but here’s the official overview of the story of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception:

“A search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands” propels fortune hunter Nathan Drake on a daring trek into the heart of the Arabian Desert, a journey that pits him and his mentor Victor Sullivan against the occult treachery of a shadowy clandestine organization and its ruthless leader. When the terrible secrets of this lost city are unearthed, Drake’s quest descends into a desperate bid for survival that strains the limits of his endurance and forces him to confront his deepest fears.”

Over a year ago, developer Naughty Dog had made the multiplayer version of the game free to play and that resulted in a lot of appreciation. Now when players in the US get the single player for free too, it will practically mean they get to enjoy the complete experience without having to pay a dime.

Lastly, contrary to what other publications are reporting, the US PlayStation website says that the game is ‘free for PlayStation Plus members,’ whereas people have been reporting that it is free for all PlayStation Network users whether they have a PS Plus membership or not.

If you are a newbie to the series, we suggest that you get your hands on your copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and consider doing so as your sworn obligation.
