The Walking Dead Pinball Table Scheduled to Release This Summer

By   /   Jun 4, 2014

Those of you who follow Telltale Games’ PR director, Job J Stauffer on Twitter might know that he dropped in hint of a surprise announcement (not related to a new series or episode) yesterday.

I bet no one imagined The Walking Dead Pinball Table. That’s right! Courtesy of a partnership among Robert Kirkman, Telltale Games, and Zen Studios; the Walking Dead will soon have its very own pinball table.

The novel table will allow player to re-visit Clementine’s treehouse, Everett’s pharmacy, and walker-infested streets of Savannah along with bringing in decision-driven gameplay of The Walking Dead:

This new table will bring the story and choice-driven gameplay of The Walking Dead: Season One journey to the playfield. Touring locations like Clementine’s treehouse, Everett’s pharmacy in Macon and down the tracks to the walker-infested streets of Savannah.

Featuring original story dialogues from the cast, the game will force players to make tough decision about life and death, scavenging for food supplies, searching for weapons, and keeping up the group morale.

Scenarios include choosing who to save and who to leave behind in a walker attack, solving problems and raising morale within the group, searching for food and supplies, acquiring important tools, and navigating through the herd amidst an oncoming walker breach.

Players will be able to get firsthand experience of the table at Telltale Games’ booth at E3 2014. As for now, Zen Studios has issued a small teaser trailer featuring Clementine, Lee, and the Walking Dead Table itself.

The Walking Dead Pinball Table is scheduled to release later this summer across Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PS Vita, PC, and mobile platforms.
