Do You Want a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Beta? Pre-order Survey Asks
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated for release on November 4, 2014 and that is five whole months from now!
Wouldn’t you like it if Sledgehammer Games let you get your hands on some of it before hand? Yes, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Beta might actually be under discussion at the development studio.
What actually happened is that the developer undertook a survey among the fans who have pre-ordered the game. It focuses mainly on the preorder incentives that people would want to get, but since we haven’t been told much about the game so far, we’re making notes of everything they tell us.
First off, the survey asked if the users would want an Advanced Warfare themed personalization pack to be used in Ghosts or Black Ops 2. That sounds interesting, you might want it right? However, wait for what is coming next, and you’ll drop this one.
There could be a bonus multiplayer map designed for Advanced Warfare and for the use of Exo Suit abilities. So yes, the incentive is a bonus map in this, but it also tells us that the game will make use of the Exo Suit anyway! Kudos!
Moving on, one option for a pre-order incentive was Nuketown Exo, the classic COD map with all new Exo Suit abilities. Then, there was a free upgrade to next-gen console copy. This means that getting a copy for PS3 or Xbox 360 would get you a PS4 or Xbox One copy for free.
The second last and very important preorder incentive option offered in the survey was Early Access by 48 hours.
Lastly, and most importantly, Sledgehammer Games asked the fans if they wanted Beta Access to the game for a limited time before the game releases!
I don’t think there is any question left in what your choice would have been if you were asked these questions, but let’s just hope that the developer does give weight to what people want i.e. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Beta!
