By   /   Jun 3, 2014

Nintendo has released Wii U update that comes with some exciting new features.

Highlight of the update 5.0.0 U is Quick Start feature that gives you an option to load and play any recently installed software directly, without bothering you with the home screen menu.

Moreover, it adds enhancements to the stability of Wii U consoles so that your experience is smoother.

In addition, Wii U GamePad alerts have been added, which are special notifications from Nintendo, and they will be displayed on your GamePad when your Wii U system is not powered on.

Other changes that are part of update include:

  • The User Settings screen now displays when users select their User Mii from the Wii U Menu
  • The design and layout of the Users Settings screen has been updated
  • System updates will now automatically install after download when the Wii U is in Standby
  • A Notification icon is now available on the HOME Menu, allowing users to launch the Notifications feature from the HOME Menu

The new update is working fine and will take up over an hour of your time for download so be sure that you have enough time before you start downloading it.

How is your experience going on with the new Wii U update?
