Media Molecule Will Not Be Showing Anything at E3 2014
In the wake of the rumors-patrol, Media Molecule has revealed that it will not be showing anything new at E3 next week.
“E3 is right around the corner, how exciting,” the studio exclaimed on Twitter. “Sadly we’re not showing anything this year, but we’re sending high-fives to everyone who is!”
The LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway developer made it pretty clear as to not have any expectations from them for the duration of the expo. The developer however promised to have something exciting in store for fans at their next appearance.
“We’ve got a whole lotta fun to show you later though, and we simply *cannot wait*,” it added, “so hold on tight, it won’t be too much longer :)”
The next event to take place after E3 is Gamescom in August. Sony has teased to have a lot of announcements this year. The company will most likely be holding out on some for Gamescom, including those from Media Molecule.
The developer has been rumored to be working on a new IP for the PlayStation 4, as well as assisting another studio with another project. Fans would be keeping their fingers crossed for news on either a new LittleBigPlanet or Tearaway installment.
E3 2014 takes place from June 10 to 12 at Los Angeles. Microsoft has made it pretty clear that it will be walking up to the stage with announcements that will redeem themselves.
