Homefront: The Revolution BoxArt Leaked Ahead of Announcement
Though we know that the sequel to Kaos’ first person shooter Homefront is going to come, it has not been announced by the developer Crytek as yet. However, a Swedish website seems to have run ahead of time. The upcoming game is apparently called Homefront: The Revolution.
FZ, a Swedish website has listed Homefront: The Revolution claiming that it is going to be the sequel to the 2011 FPS. This came along with a Boxart of the game for the PS4 version, see below:
Up until now, the official word has been scarce, and we have not even been told what the sequel is going to be called. However, the fact that this report has a BoxArt that looks legit, does make it a bit more believable.
What is even more interesting is the fact that they didn’t list any PS3 version for Homefront 2. That bit was pretty mind-boggling to me, honestly.
A couple of years back it was confirmed that Crytek will be developing the game using CryEngine. The game is going to feature an invasion of the United States by North Korea – oh the fears.
While we still don’t have any official word on either the box art, the name of the game, or the platforms that it is being made for, let’s maintain that proverbial grain of salt in this regard.
What do you think about the Homefront: The Revolution? If the story about Homefront 2 is legit and Crytek is really skipping PS3 for PS4, would you be glad?
