By   /   Jun 2, 2014

Just as the Xbox Live Games with Gold promotion turns one year old, Microsoft announced an additional chunk of the fun to commemorate the anniversary.

For the first time, three games are up for free in June. And, the additional game, Dark Souls, is here!

The other two games that are accompanying Dark Souls on Xbox Live Games with Gold are Charlie Murder, a beat em up from August 2013 and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition which also happens to be the latest game in the series. The two games are usually priced at $10 and $30 respectively.

Coming to Dark Souls, the game usually sets you back by $20 but from the two weeks between June 1 and June 15, you will be able to get it for free. Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be put up on offer in the latter half of June.

In parallel news, we know that finally the Xbox One users will be able to make use of the Xbox Live Games with Gold promotion starting this month. The inaugural games are Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.

This is your chance to get your hands on one of the most awe-inspiring titles from the previous generation – but only if you can handle the continuous deaths.

If you are interested in visiting (or revisiting) Dark Souls, you may head to the Xbox Marketplace right now. For further information keep a track of the Xbox Live Game with Gold page.
