In a recent interview with Gamezone, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing and PR Pete Hines talks about the upcoming BattleCry as well as why he is not undeterred by the constant backlash of Fallout fans on twitter.

According to him, the company is more than just Fallout or Elder Scrolls. If fans do not get to hear about these games they start going crazy when instead they should be realizing that the company has 7 studios and they are all working on various projects.

Bethesda is making really bold choices these days, when most developers out there are rebooting franchises for next gen, Bethesda is working on new IPs such as BattleCry and fans should be appreciative of this effort.

Hines is actually proud of BattleCry, considering it a fresh step towards exploring something the company has never done before.

According to him, BattleCry isn’t just your typical and ordinary strategy MOBA game. The development team had a cool concept and they went along with it with the company’s full support.

The result is shaping out in the form of an exciting and fun new IP which the employees discuss for hours after a playtest ends.

Bethesda’s pre-E3 event only showed BattleCry along with an updated demo for The Evil Within so there is still no word on Fallout 4. However since there were no details regarding Doom as well but company has already confirmed it is in development, fans can keep their hopes up about a Fallout 4 reveal at E3.
