Microsoft Details Plans On How To Reach Fans Who Cannot Attend E3

Microsoft has some exciting news for those who were sad they couldn’t be a part of this year’s E3 just because they aren’t affiliated with the press. The company will be holding several events across Los Angeles which anyone can attend.

On Sunday June 8th, there will be a pre-E3 event at Century City Microsoft Store and 100 attendees will be given access to the Xbox E3 Media Briefing.

Another event, hosted by Major Nelson himself will be held at the same store on 11th June from 6pm to 9pm. This event will be focusing on Sunset Overdrive and those who are present will be able to try out the game. They will also get to try the Sunset Overdrive’s Overcharge Delirium XT drink.

What if you aren’t in L.A? Well Microsoft has plans for such fans as well. There will be several streamed events and before the Xbox’s E3 Media Briefing, there will be a ‘green carpet’ event streamed on Xbox.com and Xbox Live.

After the media briefing, people can head over to Xbox’s TwitchTV channel to see a live post-show event. Guests on stage which include Yusuf Mehdi, Bonnie Ross and Phil Spencer will answer questions from the audience as well as those asked by fans on Twitter.

Furthermore, on Twitch, during the entire week that the expo is open, Microsoft will be broadcasting live gameplay from the show floor.

Seems like Microsoft is going full steam ahead for this E3, and they seem to have properly planned everything as well.
