FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup Update is Now Live
According to the announcement by EA Sports, the FIFA Ultimate Team World Cup mode is now available.
The free update was delayed earlier when EA Sports reported some issues not saying how long the delay would last. Soon, they issued a statement saying the team was making progress on the issues and that the update would be available the next day.
FIFA 14 owners on the PC can download the 600 Megabyte update via Origin whilst it will be auto-downloaded for the console counterparts.
The Ultimate Team World Cup mode features a stand-alone version of the popular Ultimate Team Mode, which lets gamers form a team of players picked from any of the 32 National Teams taking part in this year’s World Cup.
The mode will also include all 32 National Team Crests, National Team kits, the Estadio do Marcana Stadium, the official Adidas Brasuca match ball and a whole new feel within the game.
The mode will feature Single player and Online tournament modes pitting players against one another through group stage and knock out phases to get to the coveted FIFA World Cup.
Winning matches earns players in-game virtual coins that can be used to purchase Packs in the in-game store which include new players and consumables which will strengthen their team (just like the original mode).
