People Are Unable To Play Watch Dogs Even After Its Release
After suffering numerous delays, Watch Dogs finally hit the shelves yesterday. However, the launch didn’t go as smoothly as Ubisoft was hoping, as many players have been unable to play the game due to Uplay Login servers’ authentication errors.
Do note that if you don’t login to the game with Uplay client, then you will not be able to get access to the multiplayer and cloud saves.
Many people have been trying to get their hands on the game but their efforts have been in vain as they keep getting errors while attempting to login to Uplay. These errors are maybe the result of website overloading resulting from thousands of requests at the same time.
However, Ubisoft is trying very hard to fix all these issues and you can see the official twitter feed of the company, which is filled with the complaints from the people who are facing the authentication problem.
The issue is definitely annoying for the players because they have waited for a long time to get their hands on the game.
Some players reportedly managed to login to their Uplay account after several attempts and some recent reports claim that PC players will not have any problems downloading Watch Dogs from Uplay as the issue has been fixed.
It’s a big issue and Ubisoft should have prepared itself to combat this situation before the launch of Watch Dogs. Let’s just hope, the issue is resolved sooner rather than later.
