Battlefield: Hardline Announced, Pits Robbers’ Against Cops

Visceral Games next project Battlefield: Hardline was leaked yesterday, which forced EA to announce the game couple of weeks before E3.

Battlefield: Hardline will be completely different from its predecessors as it puts all of its focus on the fight between Cops vs. Robbers.

Executive producer of Visceral Games Steve Papoutsis wrote:

The game launches this fall and it’s a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.

He also added, that Battlefield: Hardline will have Battlefield style of multiplayer and this time, single player campaign will be given more importance.

We’re excited to be going into more detail soon on the ways we’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player.

Expect Heists similar to PayDay 2 and GTA V.

Heists can provide an amazing experience to the players, in both single player and multiplayer modes. Remember ‘Three Leaf Clover bank heist from GTA IV? It is arguably the most loved mission in recent memory.

Earlier, EA promised that it will be showing off six new titles at E3 and that included the next project from Visceral Games, which leaves five more titles to be revealed.
