Destiny Alpha Testing Ongoing, E3 Attendees Will Be Able to Play the Game

Bungie has begun the Alpha testing phase of its highly anticipated first-person shooter game Destiny. Sadly, for you and everyone else who doesn’t spend half of their day in Bungie’s office, this Alpha testing is limited to their employees only.

According to a news update on their official site, Bungie is making great progress with its Alpha testing, and setting up the game for an E3 showdown.

Attendees at the E3 conference will be able to play the competitive multiplayer featured in the game, playing against each other in a player vs. player environment rather than the shooter’s primary story-driven. MMO styled gameplay.

Bungie has stated that “players will be able to put their skills to the test in intense skill-based arenas.” With the plural usage of arena, we’re hoping that we get to see multiple maps and possibly different kinds of multiplayer game modes.

The pre-launch beta for the game will start a short while before the retail launch on September 9, and unlike the Alpha testing, players will be able to participate in the Beta stage. You can get your Beta-testing privilege by pre-ordering Destiny before it begins.

Here are the places where you can acquire Destiny and also get the Beta code.

Destiny is one of the moved anticipated titles of a seemingly game-rich 2014, combining MMORPG elements with classic first-person shooter action to give you what seems to be a revolutionary gameplay in a vast open world, where you must defend the last brinks of humanity from an extraterrestrial threat.

The game is set to be released on September 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
