First Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare PC Footage Shows Dynamic Controls
PopCap HD, the developers behind Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare has released a new video giving players a glimpse of their upcoming quirky shooter.
The short teaser video, which was released on Instagram is for the PC version of the game (the Xbox 360 and Xbox One version was released in January 2014).
In the video, the developers show case a pretty neat and essential feature for a game which supports controllers; the dynamic control scheme.
The game UI instantly shifts according to whatever control device the player is using without the need of restarting the game or changing settings in the menu.
If a player is using keyboard and mouse, pressing a key on the controller or moving the analog sticks will automatically change the control scheme to mirror the controller.
The feature isn’t really something new, but there is only a handful of games, which have nailed it down perfectly and as smooth as it seems to be done in PvZ: Garden Warfare.
Additionally, the video reconfirms that the PC version of Garden Warfare will launch with all the previously released DLC for Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions, as the map featured in the short video is none other than Cactus Canyon from the Zomboss Down add-on.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be releasing for PC on June 24 via Origin.
