2K’s Upcoming Title Evolve Gets A Release Date

By   /   May 22, 2014

In a Press event held today, 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios announced their upcoming multiplayer shooter Evolve. Turtle Rock Studios are the same developers who brought us to the co-op classic Left 4 Dead.

Evolve creates a seamless blend of co-op and competitive multiplayer experience as four players are pitched against one player controlled monster. Set on an alien planet in the distant future, players hunt their prey in adrenaline-pumping 4v1 matches.

The player controlled monster, named Goliath, isn’t the only threat to the Hunters. The world itself present many dangers, there are AI controlled monsters in variety of sizes with different abilities and weakness.

Teamwork and communication is the key to success in Evolve as players play through various game modes and over a dozen maps for incredible gameplay variety and replayability.

Players will have various hunters to choose from, and a balanced team is essential to take down the monsters.

Evolve is set to be released on 21st October 2014 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Players who pre order the game will be given a Monster Expansion Pack for free. The pack grants them access to the Savage Goliath skin as well as another playable monster character.

Evolve will be playable at E3 from June 10-12 at 2K Games’ booth.
