Quantum Break Will Offer Highest Fidelity of Facial Motion Capture

By   /   May 21, 2014

Quantum Break is undoubtedly among the most anticipated titles coming exclusively to Xbox One this year but Microsoft has been pretty quiet on the project.

However, in an interview with TotalXbox, Lionhead’s John Needham said a few words regarding the upcoming title:

It’s a big first party title, we’re not talking about it much, but it’s a big exciting title – just hit full production.

Among other things, the game will offer the highest fidelity of facial motion capture that’s available on the market, and is the ultimate Remedy game.

Quantum Break got a lot of attention from the media after its announcement at the Xbox One reveal event due to its unique time traveling based gameplay style.

In the game you will be playing as both the protagonist and the antagonist with each of them providing a different perspective to the gameplay within the same scenario.

Aside from the time-bending feature, the game is played in a third person perspective, where you will be shooting your way through multiple enemies in order to move forward in the game.

So far, there is no official release date for Quantum Break, but we are hoping that Microsoft will reveal more about that at the upcoming E3 event.

Are you excited about the game?
