Epic Games Doing Motion Capture For Fortnite

By   /   May 21, 2014

Epic Games has been pretty quiet about their upcoming title Fortnite, but today the developer released a new footage on the game’s instagram, showing off the motion capture of the title.

Fortnite was first announced in 2011 by EPIC and then it was revealed that the game will be a free-to-play title coming exclusively to PC.

The game will rely on your team-work skills in a survival game set in an open world. As you play through and explore the map, you will come across different weapons, which will help you fight against the waves of enemies.

Moreover, the players and their friends will have to gather resources to fortify themselves in a fort and defend it from the monsters at night.

The game revolves around the building mechanic that Minecraft popularized. You will have the option of building each wall for your fort and even if they are damaged, you can repair them.

Epic Games previously worked on the Gears of War series, which also put a lot of focus on the team-work of players in the campaign and multiplayer modes.

Fortnite will be powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 and we are hoping to see the gameplay footage of the game at next month’s E3.

Are you excited to see the game in action?
