Agarest: Generations of War 2 Headed To Steam, Japanese Dungeon Crawler Teased

Localization experts Ghostlight Games have announced that Agarest: Generations of War 2 will come to Steam later this year. This would be the third in the line of Agarest releases to come to PC.

Previously, the game was also available on Playstation Network for Playstation 3. All releases revolve around a Japanese roleplaying game (JRPG) theme, with some tactical battles and auxiliary gameplay elements.

For its story, Agarest: Generations of War 2 uses the well-known amnesia model, after the protagonist by the name of Weiss kills a god. Once that interlude is taken care of, Weiss is accompanied by a mysterious woman, named Eva, who sort of just shoves a world-saving task on the god-killer.

Aside from intricate combat systems, there are also mini-games, such as bathing and massages with the female cast of the JRPG. And yes, they get progressively more naked.

To get you ready for the Steam release of Agarest: Generations of War 2, Ghostlight Games has discounted the first two iterations on Valve’s store. If you own those already, maybe this is a chance to get some of the many, many downloadable content (DLC) additions.

Agarest: Generations of War is available at a 66% discount, starting at €5.09. Agarest: Generations of War is cut down 33% and costs €13.99.

Additionally, Ghostlight Games has used the occasion to tease their next project. They’ll have information about the localization of a Japanese dungeon crawler, previously unavailable in the West, tomorrow.
