Since the start of May update beta preview for the Xbox One, people have been waiting to get their hands-on the update and finally, the wait is over.

According to Microsoft’s Major Nelson, Xbox One May update has started to roll out.

This new update for the console will make voice recognition for the Kinect sensor much easier with the help of Opt-in, where you will be able to collect all your speech data. Moreover, the sensor will become more efficient in tracking your body movements and face, accurately.

In addition to the Kinect improvements, Xbox One will be getting a sound mixer for the apps with Snap and Volume controls:

With the new Sound mixer, you’ll be able to control the volume levels of two apps when you’re using Snap letting you decide which app is louder. In this same section, you’ll also be able to control the volume levels when you’re using Kinect for chat.

Another neat feature is the freedom to choose the time to update your console, instead of it being forced onto you.

With this update, you can now update your console when you feel like. When you want to update, just go to settings and you will find an option for a system update.

If the update hasn’t reached you over the weekend then surely, it will be coming to your Xbox One within next few days.
