Peter Potts: 34 years old, father-of-five from Dalmur, West Dunbartonshire has made it to the top of Xbox Live Leaderboards for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Quite often, most Call of Duty players are considered as annoying 12 years-old kids who don’t have anything better to do. Even if we look at most professional Call of Duty players (Console Majority), they are mostly teenagers. Well, Peter Potts has proven that you don’t necessarily have to be a nerd to enjoy competitive gaming.

Better known by his online alias; Scottish Gun 1, Potts has been playing Call of Duty: Ghosts since it came out. While speaking to Daily Mail, Potts stated that the first time he started playing COD: Ghosts, he knew he possessed the skill.

And from that day forth, Potts has been climbing the Xbox Live Leaderboards ladder. Back in February, the 34 years old dad made it to top 100 and is finally the reigning Top Gun with more than 180, 871 confirmed kills.

As soon as I started playing it, I noticed the skill level I had; I started climbing the ranks and was getting good at it quickly.

Sharing his playing time and routine, Potts said that he usually plays late at night or a few hours between dinner time. As for his longest gaming session, it is between 8 to 10 hours.

Potts also mentioned that being a married man, he does not let his passion interfere with his responsibilities. It certainly looks like his family encourages him since his wife Ashley made him a special Call of Duty cake on the occasion.

Ashley is totally fine, she understands what it means to me and she’s really proud of me. She’s played it a few times and she quite likes it.

Coming in at the second place, Vato Loco I has taken a break from the game to congratulate Potts on his achievement. This is indeed a job well done!
