The Holographic Watch in The Division is More Than a Fashion Accessory

We have had received a whole lot of screenshots from Ubisoft’s forthcoming third-person shooter RPG, The Division since its announcement. Did you ever notice a husky watch strapped around agents’ wrist?

It’s always been there, and most of us took it as a fashion accessory. Well, it turns out that it’s not just a fashion accessory, but performs a bunch of functions.

Today, Ubisoft shared quite a detailed image of this smart watch on The Division’s Facebook Page. You can check it out below:

The Division Watch

Ian Miles Cheong of Gameranx writes that the watch is capable of tracking down other agents in the surroundings, view the layout of the area in which agents are, manage their inventory, and assign exact locations and items to other agents.

The watch itself looks like it is made up of metal and rubber with no visible analogue time piece. If we were to compare it, it easily looks like a thinner variant of Dual Shock watches.

Instead of the dial, you will see an orange holographic display which reads agent’s codename along with its wide array of functionalities. The caption provided alongside the screenshot reads:

The smart watch is one of the most important pieces of equipment for The Division agents. Why do you think that is? #TheDivision

What other features would you like to see incorporated into this smart watch; music on the go, maybe? Let us know in the comments below!.
