Rockstar Developing A Next-Gen Title For 2015

Today, in a conference call with the investors, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that Rockstar is working on to bring a new title to the next-gen platforms but did not specify if it is going to be a new IP or an existing series.

Rockstar Games were rumored to be working on to bring GTA V to the next-gen consoles but the company squashed those rumors and said that they are focusing on to bring the “best possible experience for the consoles, people have right now”.

Also, in 2009 E3 conference Rockstar announced a brand new IP “Agent” that was exclusively in development for the PlayStation 3 but no information on the project was revealed after that.

However in 2012, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick broke the silence on the game and said that “We haven’t announced anything about that title”.

Read Dead Redemption was released in 2010 and there is a very strong possibility that the next-gen game would be a next iteration in the popular series because Rockstar had said previously that they want to make Read Dead a permanent franchise for them.
