It is a good week for every Pokémon fan out there! First, we received details on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and then we came across a Western release date for Pokémon Art Academy.

And now, we have another free-to-play Pokémon game for Nintendo 3DS dubbed as The Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon.

Courtesy of the Japanese Magazine CoroCoro, the game is said to be a tie-in to the upcoming Pokémon movie – Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. – Spotted by Fansite PokeJungle.

According to CoroCoro, The Band of Thieves & 1000 Pokémon will be released at Nintendo eStore – only in Japan – starting from June 4, 2014. However, it will be available for a fixed period of time. As for the Western release, currently there is no information available, but you can expect some in a couple of days.

The game revolves around collecting as many Pokémon as you can by utilizing StreetPass. And these Pokémon will then set out to take battle against the thieves. It is being said that the battles will be determined by the number of Pokémon at your disposal.
