Mario Kart 8 Makes an Appearance on Cartoon Network, GameStop Bonuses Unveiled
Mario Kart 8 made its way to TV yesterday, when it was shown on Cartoon Network to display the anti-gravity racing mechanic that will be a part of the upcoming title.
Moreover, Nintendo and GameStop have decided to partner up for the playable demos of the upcoming racer on the selected brick and mortar locations on 17th and 18th of May.
If you decide to pre-order the game from GameStop, you will get an exclusive double sided poster of the game. Also, the pro members of ‘Power up Rewards’ will get 40% extra credit if they decide to trade old games or accessories to purchase Mario Kart 8.
The game will have the same traditional style of racing that players have become used to in previous titles and some of the popular features will also be making a return in the latest iteration of the series including motorbikes, underwater racing, customizable vehicles and hang gliders.
The new feature of the game, which is being shown in the TV spot video on Cartoon Network is called the anti-gravity racing that will let you race upside down or sideways at some point on the racing tracks.
The multiplayer mode of Mario Kart 8 will support up to 12 players, which you can either play region wise or globbaly depending upon your preference.
Mario Kart 8 releases exclusively for Wii U on 30th of May.
