Rumor: FIFA 15 Release Date Listed By Retailer

By   /   May 9, 2014

A Romanian retailer, Altex has leaked the release date of EA Sports upcoming FIFA 15 game.

According to the listings on the retailer’s website, the game is set to be released for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC on 26th September 2014.

The game price written the store page is 279 RON, which is almost equivalent to 60 USD.

This isn’t the first leak from the retailer. Last month, Altex also posted listings on their site for PS4, Xbox One and PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, set for a 2015 release. While the page listed a date of 15th June, the retailer clarified this was an estimated release date.

Both these release dates are still rumors and posted by Altex, which has no ties with the game companies besides the usual business transactions. The release dates still haven’t been confirmed by the respective companies.

It is interesting to note that the listings for FIFA 15 are up when the game hasn’t even been revealed yet. Not that anyone wonders if a new FIFA is being developed or not seeing as how they are a yearly title.

Typically, a new FIFA game is revealed at E3, and E3 2014 is still a month away.

This rumored release date cannot however be discarded lightly given Altex’s track record of leaking game information, which later turns out to be true.

They were the first to announce the Jackdaw Edition for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag before its official announcement.
